Dr. Bernhard Polten will give an overview how a regulation for livestock breeding is developed and implemented in Europe. His talk will be followed by three shorter presentations given by Drs.
Hanna Grothmann, Erik Mullaart and Helene Quinton representing Germany, the Netherlands and France. They will inform how the European regulations are translated into national law and how they
handle it in their daily work. At the end, there will be time for a general discussion.
